About Me
A commerce graduate (1989) from the elite St Xaviers College, Kolkata Prof Srinivasan is a qualified Chartered Accountant (1991). After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Prof Srinivasan joined the capital markets and for the next two decades garnered hands on experience in various facets of capital markets and financial services like foreign exchange, investment banking, fixed income trading, and trading in various asset classes across different markets. As an Investment banker he has handled more than 12 IPOs and as a trader has traded in various simple as well as exotic financial instruments. With a desire to share the knowledge and rich experience gained in the capital markets over two decades he decided to pursue his passion for teaching aspiring Chartered Accountants especially those in the Final Levels. Combining his practical experience with a flair for teaching he brings a different and refreshing approach to the study of Financial Management and the various aspects of Capital Markets and financial services. His teaching experience spans more than 15 years and over the years he has mentored and taught more than 20000 aspiring Ca’s across various cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune and Chennai. Prof Srinivasan believes in teaching a subject in a logical and conceptual manner rather than simply applying formulas to arrive at the solution. Breaking down a problem into its basic and simple components in a lucid manner together with his ability to provide live and practical examples / scenario are the hall mark of his teaching and this enables the student to understand even the most complex concepts very easily.
